Di nuovo una lunga assenza! Mi dispiace, ma sto progettando con mia sorella blog, vi posso già dare il link, anche se è ancora in fase di costruzione: MESSING AROUND.
Lascerò per un pò questo blog, non so se e/o quando ritornerò però lo lascerò on line, in caso qualche nuova persona arrivi qui, cosicchè possa essere indirizzata al nuovo blog. E anche perchè se dovessi tornare a gestire un blog da sola potrei continuare qui!
Come dicevo sarà un blog che gestirò con mia sorella, e sarà vario, come questo: ci saranno progetti DIY, recensioni di libri e di film, HAUL di shopping, aggiornamenti del mio negozio etsy, beh, un pò di tutto!!!

Again a long absence! I'm sorry, but I working on builging a blog with my sister, I can already give you the link, even if it's still under construciton: MESSING AROUND.
I'll leave this blog for a while, I don't know if and/or when I'll come back, but I'll leave it on line, in case someone new comes here, so that he or she can be redirected right to the new blog. And even if I should ever come back to have a blog on my own, I might continue from here!

A little haul!!!
Ieri sono andata a fare shopping, perchè avevo dei coupon che sarebbero scaduti oggi! Quindi prima sono andata da Bottega Verde e ho comprato questo eyeliner, queste salviette struccanti, questo olio illuminante semi di lino, questo scrub all'albicocca e questa maschera purificante arigilla e mandarino. Bottega Verde ha dei prodotti molto buoni, ve li consiglio vivamente!!! A casa mia li usiamo da sempre, da ancora prima che nascessi io!!!
Yesterday I went on a little shopping trip, because I had coupons that were going to expire today!
So first I went to Bottega Verde and I bought this eyeliner, these makeup remover wipes, this linseed illuminating oil, this apricot scrub and this purifying mask clay and tangerine. Bottega Verde has really good products, I highly recommend them!!!! We've been using them in our house since forever, even before I was born!!!!
Poi, siamo andate in un negozio nello stesso centro, che si chiama Kasanova, che ha dei super sconti e sta chiudendo, quindi abbiamo comprato questi bicchieri carinissimi

Then I went to Viridea, shop that I love, with all those flowers and plants!!! Lately I saw a couple of episodes of MAN V. FOOD, show where there's Adam Richman, "professional eater", that's on tour all over America to eat the weidest things, like super hot sushi, a 8 pound burrito and stuff like that. Seeing him eating these hot things, I've "grown fond" of peppers, and yesterday I saw 20 different peppers plants, I wanted to get them all!!!
Well, I didn't buy them, and I'll show you a couple of nice things!!!

Doctor Who wishlist
Stavo dando un'occhiata su Pinterest e ho trovato un link per Think Geek che riguardava il compleanno di Nathan Fillion ( se non sapete chi sia dovete assolutamente vedere Castle!!!), e se volete potete partecipare ad un concorso e aiutare a far arrivare dell'acqua alle persone povere in Africa. E' una cosa che ha fatto già l'anno scorso, per quello che ne so. Potete avere tutte le informazioni qui, sul sito CHARITY WATER e se volete potete partecipare al concorso andando su questo link. Il tutto è iniziato da Think Geek perchè lui faceva parte del cast del telefilm Firefly, che non fu molto fortunata!!!

Comunque, ho poi iniziato a cercare per cose carine del Doctor Who. Non ancora iniziato a guardarlo, ma siccome ho visto tutti gli episodi di Torchwood (che è uno spin-off del Doctor Who) so già che lo amerò, in più i gadget sono così belli, quindi è questo il tema della mia wishlistin caso non l'aveste capito dal titolo del post!
Anyway, I started looking for cool Doctor Who stuff. I haven't started to watch it yet, but since I saw all the Torchwood episodes (which is a Doctor Who spin-off) and I already know that I'll love it, plus the gadget are so cute, so this is what this wishlist is all aboutin case you didn't get it from the title!

Can we go back to childhood, pleeeease?!?!
Allora, lunedì pomeriggio sono andata al cinema con mia sorella e il suo nipotino di 6 anni, perchè volevamo vederlo anche noi e non volevamo pagare un extra per un film che in 2D è bello tanto quanto quello in 3D, se non di più! Noi facciamo parte della vecchia scuola per quanto riguarda i film! Ad ogni modo, il film era I CROODS è stato molto ma molto bello, e per la maggior parte del tempo io e mia sorella ci guardavamo quando c'erano delle belle scene e ci dicevamo "Carinooo!" quando vedevamo qualche animale!
So, monday afternoon I went to the movies with my sister and her 6 years old nephew, because we wanted to see it, too, and we didn't want to pay an extra for a movie that in 2D was as good as 3D, if not more!We're also "old school" about movies! Anyway, the movie was THE CROODS, and it was really really good, and mostly me and my sister spent the time watching each other when there were nice scenes and telling each other "Cute!" when we saw a nice animal!
La sala era piena di bambini, che facevano quello che volevano anche se c'erano le loro madri, che erano impegnate a parlottare tra di loro invece che insegnargli a comportarsi al cinema! Scusate, ma sono un pochino suscettibile quando si parla di film, perchè sono qualcosa che amo molto e quando vado a vederne uno vorrei tanto avere gente che fa silenzio attorno a me. Magari penserete "Ma smettila, sono bambini!". Vero, ma lo era anche quello che era con me. E' un pò diverso lui, perchè è un pochino timido e, come dice mia sorella, un pochino nerd, ma si è comportato benissimo, e ha fatto silenzio quasi sempre, tranne quando chiedeva qualcosa!
Non visto un film insieme ad un bambino da quando ero una bambina io. Non ricordavo che ci fossero delle cose nei film e nei cartoni che non capivo, perchè da adulti certe cose le prendi per scontate.
Per esempio, c'è un personaggio che dice "Ho visto il domani." o qualcosa del genere. Noi adulti sappiamo cosa vuol dire, anche se forse non lo sappiamo spiegare. Al contrario, il "nostro" bambino ci ha chiesto che cosa volesse dire, perchè materialmente il domani non lo si può vedere!!!
L'ingenuità dei bambini è fantastica, non me la ricordavo, e forse quando lui avrà la mia età non se lo ricorderà, ma è bello pensare che ogni giorno c'è qualcosa di nuovo da scoprire, impari qualcosa, tutto è nuovo, anche se non hai un anno come mio nipote.
Mi manca tutto questo a volte... Ma d'altra parte, credo che manchi un pò a tutti noi, essere naive e giovani e pieni di opportunità...
Comunque, parlando del cartone, sono davvero felice che i personaggi femminili sono sempre questo qui, doppiato nell'originale dalla grande Emma Stoneuna delle mie attrici preferite, sono sempre più mostrate come donne forti e indipendenti, invece che donzelle in pericolo!!! Amo questo aspetto GIRL POWER!!!
Alla fine mi ritrovo sempre a blaterare!!!!

The theatre was filled with kids, that did what they wanted even if there were their mothers, that were chatting with each other instead of teaching them how to behave when you're at the cinema! I'm sorry, but I'm a little touchy when we talk about movies, because are something I really love and when I go see one I want to have quiet people around me. You might say "Shut up, they're kids!". Yeah, so was the one with me. He's a bit different because he's a little bit shy and, as my sister would say, "nerdy like", but he behaved really well, and was quiet the whole time, except for when he asked something!
I haven't seen a movie with a kid since I was one. I didn't remember that there are some thing in movies and cartoons as well that I didn't understand because adult take them for granted.
For example, there's a character that says "I saw the tomorrow." or something like that. We adults know what it means, maybe we can't explain it but we know. On the contrary, our kid asked us what that meant, because you can't see materially the tomorrow!!!
The greensess kids have is amazing, I really didn't remember it, and maybe when he'll be my age won't remember it either, but it's nice to think that everyday you find something new, you learn something new, everything is new even if you're not a 1 year old like my nephew.
I really miss this sometimes... I guess everyone misses it, to be naive and young and full of opportunities...
Anyway, talking about the cartoon, I'm really happy that female characters like this one, dubbed by the great Emma Stoneone of my favourite actresses, are more and more shown as strong and indipendent, instead as a helpless lady!!! I like this GIRL POWER thing!
Little girls must grow thinking they can do anything, except for flying!

I'm stuck!!!
Vi succede mai di leggere un libro, di amarlo, di viverlo, di sperare che non finisca mai, e quando purtroppo finisce, di rimanere bloccati?!? Da non riuscire a pensare ad altri libri, ad altri personaggi, ad altre storie?! Poi se sapete che a breve esce il film di tale libro, non iniziate a cercare info, foto, video on line giusto per non far finire l'idillio?!?
Questo è quello che mi succede spesso. L'ultimo è stato L'OSPITE, di Stephenie Meyer ( sì, è lei, la scrittrice della tetralogia più amata e più odiata: THE TWILIGHT SAGA).
Does ever happen to you to read a book, to love it, to live it, to hope it never ends, e when unfortunately it ends, to get stuck?!? So much that you can't think about other books, other characters, other stories?! Then you know that soon the movie of that book will be in theatres, and you start look on line for infos, picture and video just to not let idyll end?!?
Well, that what happens to me quite often. The last one was THE HOST, by Stephenie Meyer (yes, that's her, the writer of the most loved and hated tetralogy: THE TWILIGHT SAGA).
L'avevo già letto, anni fa, distrattamente, talmente distrattamente che non ricordavo quasi neanche il nome della protagonista, nè l'umana nè l'aliena!
Ho deciso di rileggerlo perchè il 29 marzo esce il film, e si promette molto bello, e voglio sempre essere informata quando vado a vedere un film, sapere di cosa parla, ma dato che in teoria lo dovevo già sapere era meglio "ripassare la lezione"!
Ieri sono andata dalla parrucchiera e sapevo che sarei rimasta molto tempo ( infatti sono stata lì dalle 9 alle 13,30 circa) e mi sono portata il libro da leggere e l'avevo anche quasi finito prima che si decidessero di togliermi la stagnola dalla testa!
Stavolta l'ho proprio letto con molta più attenzione, mi ricordo molti nomi, molti particolari della storia. Probabilmente la volta precedente non volevo leggerlo così tanto peró mia sorella e le mie cugine l'avevano letto e ne parlavano e io mi sentivo esclusa, in più ero andata via in un viaggio noioso con il mio maestro di ballo del tempo e avevo bisogno di qualcosa da fare x ore, mentre lui insegnava!
Ora invece l'ho letto con piacere, con passione.
Alcuni attori che saranno nel film sapevo già chi erano come Saoirse Ronan che interpreta Melanie e Wanda( o Viandante) che dividono lo stesso corpo, quindi lei aveva un doppio ruolo da interpretare. Saoirse è una bravissima attrice, giovanissima (1994), con film e ruoli importanti alle spalle, come Susie Salmon in Amabili Resti, Briony in Espiazione, e Lina Mayfleet in Ember. Poi c'è Jake Abel, che interpreta Ian O'Shea. Non credo sia conosciutissimo qui in Italia ma, per chi come me ha visto Percy Jackson e gli Dei dell'Olimpo- Il ladro di Fulmini se lo puó ricordare nel ruolo di Luke, figlio del Messaggero degli Dei Mercurio, e sarà presto nel secondo film della saga di Percy Jackson. Invece l'attore che interpreta zio Jeb, lo zio di Melanie, è William Hurt che ha fatto film come Lost in Space e The Village. Un'altra protagonista di questo film è Diane Kruger, che interpreta la Cercatrice di Wanda, qui in Italia conosciuta come Elena di Sparta nel film Troy, e per chi ama veramente il cinema e Quentin Tarantino, in Inglorious Basterds.
I already read it, years ago, absent-mindedly, so much absent-mindedly that I almost didn't remember the human and the alien character's name!
I decided to read it again because the movie will be in theatres on the 29th of March, it's promising, and I always want to be informed when I go to see a movie, I want to know what it is about, but since I should have already known it I thought it was good for me to "revise it"!
Yesterday I went to the hair dresser and I already knew that I was going to stay there for a long time (infact I was there from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and I brought the book to read and I had almost finished before they decided it was time to that the foil off my head!
This time I read it more carefully, I remember all names, many details of the story.
Maybe last time I didn't really want to read it, but my sister and my cousins already read it and were talking about it and I didn't want to feel out of it, plus I went to away with my dance teacher and I was bored so I decided to take it to do something while he was teaching!
Now I've read with pleasure, with passion.
I already knew some of the actors that will be in the movie, like Saoirse Ronan that plays Melanie and Wanda (or Wanderer) that share the same body, so she had a double character to play. Saoirse is a talented young actress (1994), with important roles on her Curriculum, like Susie Salmon in Lovely Bones, Briony in Atonement, and Lina Mayfleet in City of Ember. Then there's Jake Abel, that plays Ian O'Shea. I don't think he's really known here in Italy, but for those who saw Percy Jackson and The Olympians- The Lighting Thief, he was Luke Castellan, son of Mercury, and will soon be on the second movie of the Percy Jackson saga. The actor that plays Uncle Jeb, Melanie's Uncle, is William Hurt, that was in movies like Lost in Space and The Village. An other character, in this case Wanda's Seeker, is played by Diane Kruger, that is knows for Elena of Sparta in Troy, and for those who really love cinema and Quentin Tarantino, Inglorious Basterds.
(Vi spiego questo: sul suo profilo di twitter, Jake Abel ha iniziato questa specie di "gara di foto" anche se non è una gara, #TheHostPosterImpression, quindi l'altra sera sono andata a vedere Il grande e potente Oz, ho visto il poster e dovevo farlo, anche se ridevo come una pazza prima e dopo!!!)
(I'll explain this one: on his twitter account, Jake Abel has started this sort of "photo competition" even if it's not a competition, #TheHostPosterImpression, so last night I went to see Oz the Great and Powerful, I saw the poster and I had to do this, even if I was laughing hard before and after it!!!)
Vabbè non voleva proprio essere una promozione al film e/o al libro, volevo condividere con voi il mio amore per alcuni libri e poi quando si parla di film e cinema divento una bambina in negozio di caramelle!!!!

Saoirse is a talented young actress (1994), with important roles on her Curriculum, like Susie Salmon in Lovely Bones, Briony in Atonement, and Lina Mayfleet in City of Ember. Then there's Jake Abel, that plays Ian O'Shea. I don't think he's really known here in Italy, but for those who saw Percy Jackson and The Olympians- The Lighting Thief, he was Luke Castellan, son of Mercury, and will soon be on the second movie of the Percy Jackson saga. The actor that plays Uncle Jeb, Melanie's Uncle, is William Hurt, that was in movies like Lost in Space and The Village. An other character, in this case Wanda's Seeker, is played by Diane Kruger, that is knows for Elena of Sparta in Troy, and for those who really love cinema and Quentin Tarantino, Inglorious Basterds.
(I'll explain this one: on his twitter account, Jake Abel has started this sort of "photo competition" even if it's not a competition, #TheHostPosterImpression, so last night I went to see Oz the Great and Powerful, I saw the poster and I had to do this, even if I was laughing hard before and after it!!!)

Well, I didn't really want to make this a promotion for the movie and/or the film, I just wanted to share with you guys my love for books and when I start talking about movies I'm like a little girl in a candy shop!!!!
