che sono ancora viva! Raffreddata costantemente, ma ancora viva!
D'altronde tra aria condizionata e ventilatori come si può non essere raffreddati!
Hello people! It's been a while, again! Since before Madrid and I just wanted to tell that
I'm alive! With a constant runny nose and sneezing, but I'm good!
After all with all this air conditioning and fans how can you not have a cold!
Oltretutto ho appena finito di vedere l'ultimo episodio di GAME OF THRONES e
sono davvero sconvolta, da tutto, le cose belle e le cose brutte!
Devo dire che negli ultimi due episodi ho avuto paura per qualche personaggio 🙈🙈🙈
And I just finished watching the GAME OF THRONES and I'm really shocked, from
everything, the good and the bad things!
I must say that in these two episodes I feared for a couple of characters 🙈🙈🙈

Ultimamente ho rincominciato ad ascoltare i podcast ed ho appena terminato At Home With di Lily Pebbles e Anna Newton, due youtube/blogger inglesi che seguo da non molto, ma mi piace molto
il loro modo di essere, senza troppi fronzoli, appassionate di beauty ma non si truccano troppo.
Mi piacciono forse più vicine a come sono io. In questo podcast intervistano
donne che ammirano, ma nelle loro case, quindi è un pò
più rilassato rispetto alle solite interviste che fanno queste persone. La prima stagione è terminata il 12 luglio, ma stanno già lavorando alla prossima, e non vedo l'ora. Per ora mi consolo con i loro canali youtube e blog!
Lately I've started again listening to podcasts and I 've just finished At Home With by Lily Pebbles and Anna Newton, two uk youtube/blogger that I've been following for a little time, but I really love their attitude, without too many frills, beauty aficionados but that don't put too much make up on.
I really like them maybe because they're a lot closer to the way I am. In this podcast
they interview women they admire, but in their homes, so it's a bit more relaxed from other
interviews. The first season finished on the 12th of July, but they're already working on the next season, and I can't wait. For now I'll go with their blogs and youtube channels!
Per quanto riguarda i libri, ultimamente sto leggendo la trilogia di Ransom Riggs dei Bambini Speciali. Non so se ricordate, ma l'anno scorso era uscito il film con Eva Green e ho voluto leggere i libri. Mi sta piacendo, è molto carina come serie. Non è la migliore che abbia letto, ma è appassionante e l'inclusione nella storia di fotografie d'epoca è un'idea geniale.
Così tanto che ho pensato fosse perfetto come segnalibro una foto di mia mamma da bambina. 😊
Book wise, lately I've been reading Ransom Riggs Peculiar Children trilogy. I don't know
if you remember it but last year came out the movie with Eva Green and I wanted to
read the books. I 'm really enjoying, it's a really nice serie. Not the best I've read, but really engaging and the inclusion of pictures is just genius.
So much I decided to use as a bookmark a picture of my mom as a child. 😊
Ho anche visto qualche film che non avevo ancora visto. Iniziamo dal primo:
EFFIE GRAY, la storia vera di una donna vissuta durante il regno della Regina Vittoria, che fece scandalo perché chiese e ottenne l'annullamento del suo primo matrimonio perché non fu mai consumato. La storia è un pò più complicata di così, ma lasciatemi dire che era una donna davvero straordinaria, e fare quello che ha fatto nell'epoca in cui viveva le ho costato davvero moltissimo coraggio ed è una donna da ammirare! Effie Gray è stata interpretata da Dakota Fanning, che è stata bravissima.
Il secondo l'ho visto tornando da Madrid in aereo (grazie Netflix): MINIONS. Non l'avevo ancora visto, quindi, quando mi sono ricordata che potevo scaricare film sul dispositivi l'ho fatto subito così mi è passato in fretta il volo e non ho mai pensato che ero a km di distanza dalla terra ferma!
Il terzo è il più recente che è uscito 3 giorni fa su Netflix: DEATH NOTE.
Sono un pochino perplessa per come l'hanno reinterpretato. Natt Wolff è bravo e non lo avevo ancora
visto in nulla, tutti gli attori sono stati bravi, ed è stata una bella sorpresa sapere che Ryuk era interpretato da Willem Dafoe, ma non è stata la cosa migliore che abbia visto. Il vero Light Yagami era molto più freddo, un adolescente molto diverso da questo Light, e anche L era molto più impassibile. Forse perché ho conosciuto prima l'anime questo non mi ha fatto impazzire.
I also saw some movies I had not seen yet. Let's start from the first one:
EFFIE GRAY, the true story of a woman who lived during the Queen Victoria' reign, who caused scandal because she asked and got the annulment of her first wedding because they never consummated. The story is a bit more complicated than this, but let me tell you that she was
an extraordinary woman, and to do what she did in the age she lived in took lots of courage. Effie Gray is portrayed by Dakota Fanning, who did an amazing job, as always.
The second I saw on the plain home from Madrid (thank Netflix): MINIONS. I hadn't seen it
yet, so, when I remembered you can download on your device, so I did that and time passed
quickly and I never thought I was kms away from the ground.
The third one came out on Netflix 3 days ago: DEATH NOTE.
I'm a bit perplexed for how they reinterpreted it. Natt Wolff was good and all the other actors were too, and it was a nice surprise when I knew Ryuk was played by Willem Dafoe, but it wasn't the best
thing ever. The real Light Yagami was a lot colder, a very different teenager, and L was cooler with things that happened. Maybe this is because I've known the anime before the movie.
Le vacanze? Ormai un lontano ricordo. Ma cos'ho fatto? Come saprete già sono stata una settimana a Madrid, della quale vi parlerò presto, e ho approfittato del fatto che mia sorella è andata in campeggio
e mi sono accodata, così ho potuto vedere il mare dopo diversi anni e anche fare un tuffo in piscina, anche quello non lo facevo da molto tempo. A dire la verità non avevo mai fatto vacanze negli ultimi 4/5 anni, ma ho risparmiato per quest'anno e sono riuscita ad andare via quella settimana da sola.
The holidays? They seem so far away right now. But what did I do? As you know I was in Madrid for a week, and I'll talk about it soon, then I took advantage of my sister at a camping spot so I went with her, so I could see the sea and take a dip into the pool after years. Actually I haven't had vacations
in 4/5 years, but I saved up for this year and managed to go away.
Ecco, questo è tutto quello che è successo quest'estate. Ora siamo tornati tutti,
purtroppo, e si torna alla vita di sempre.
