LAST SUNDAY

Ciao a tutti!

Domenica è stata una giornata rilassata ma piena.

È cominciata con me e mia mamma che siamo andate a Manualmente. Andiamo ogni anno ormai, e dall’anno scorso fanno anche un’edizione primaverile.

Hellooo!

Last Sunday was a relaxed but busy day.

It started with me and my mom going to Manualmente. We go there every year, and since last year

they hold a spring edition as well.

Appena entrate abbiamo deciso di fare il giro al contrario di come lo facciamo di solito e mi sono subito fermata a comprare due pezzi di stoffa con Frida.

Non sono una pazza fan di Frida, ma la adoro, adoro la sua arte e da poco tempo ho scoperto tutta la sua storia, quindi la ammiro ancora di più per il suo coraggio e la sua forza.

Poi abbiamo incontrato delle conoscenti, chiaccherato un attimo e continuato il giro.

Abbiamo visto questa signora che faceva il telaio senza avere tutta la struttura ingombrante.

Poi ci siamo fermate nello stand più grande e preso questa lana, magari x fare una coperta invernale per il divano, delle ricariche per la colla a caldo e del feltro.

As soon as we got in, we decided to do the tour the other way around as we usually do,

and I immediately got two fabrics with Frida.

I'm not a crazy Frida fan, but I adore her, her art and I recently found out her personal story,

so I admire her even more for her strenght and her courage.

We then met some people we know, talked a bit and went on with the tour.

Then we saw this lady who was operating with a frame without the massive structure.

Thenn we stopped at the biggest stand and got this wool, maybe for a winter blanket for the sofa,

some charges for the hot glue gun and felt.

Il pomeriggio invece ho raggiunto mia sorella e siamo andate insieme a festeggiare il primo compleanno del figlio di mia cugina, dove i bimbi si sono divertiti cosí tanto che uno dei miei nipoti non ha neanche voluto fare la foto perchè “doveva giocare!!!”. 😂

In the afternoon I met with my sister and her family and we went to celebrate my cousin's baby's

first birthday, were kids had so much fun that one of my nephews didn't even want

to take a picture with us because he HAD to play!
