I've been wanting to make a laptop sleeve in such a long time and now that I managed to do it I'm very happy!

Volevo creare un porta laptop da molto tempo e ora che sono riuscita a farlo sono molto contenta!
This is what I used for this project: fabric, zipper, scissors, pins, thread, sewing machine (optional, but it makes it all quicker).
Ecco cosa ho usato per questo progetto: stoffa, cerniera, spilli, filo, macchina da cucire ( potete anche non usarla, ma rende il lavoro più veloce).
I don't habitually sew, so a couple of things took some more measurements and cuts, but let me explain how I did it all.
To measure more or less the size of the laptop sleeve I put the laptop between two pieces of fabric and pinned it, leaving a seam allowance. Then I basted with a really soft point, so that when I was done I could cut the inner stitches and start pinning the zipper.
Non cucio abitualmente, quindi alcune cose hanno richiesto più misurazioni e tagli, ma lasciate che vi spieghi come ho fatto.
Per misurare più o meno la misura del porta laptop, ho messo il pc tra due mezzi di stoffa e puntato con gli spilli, lasciando spazio per la cucitura. Poi ho imbastito con il punto molle, così dopo ho potuto tagliare i punti interni e iniziare a puntare la cerniera.
I don't have a zipper foot for my sewing machine, and since it's older, not it cannot be found anywhere, so I used the normal foot used for stitches. Once the zipper is stitched on, I opened it up, so that once it's all sewed on we can flip it over and start using it.
Purtroppo non ho il piedino per le cerniere per la mia macchina, quindi ho usato quella per le cuciture normali. Una volta cucita la cerniera, l'ho aperta per fare le cuciture laterali e poterla girare e poterla usare.
Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures because I was learning what to do it while doing it, but it's pretty easy to do it. The hardest part was stitching up the zipper, since I've never done it, but I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I'll try to make a couple more and get better at stitching zippers.
Sfortunatamente non ho fatto molte foto perchè stavo imparando mentre lo facevo, ma è comunque molto facile da fare. La parte più difficile era cucire la cerniera, siccome non l'ho mai fatto, ma sono contenta di come è venuto. Proverò a farne altri e diventerò ancora più brava con le cerniere.
