I haven't bought almost any products in almost a year, I think, and it's been going well.
As I said in a previous post, I want to finish all my products and make and/or buy only eco-friendly products for my beauty and health routine and in this post I want to show you how I organized it all.

E' quasi un anno ormai che non compro quasi più nessun prodotto e sta andando molto bene.
Come ho detto in un post precedente, voglio finire tutti i miei prodotti e fare e/o comprare sono prodotti eco-friendly per la mia routine in bagno e in questo post voglio farvi vedere come ho organizzato tutto.
Starting from my sink situation:
there's this SKIN&CO Truffle Therapy Face Gommage I found in a MYBEAUTYBOX, that I still have to finish; in a Marzia's Box I found this Sunday Riley Toner, then I have a burdock, witch hazel and rosemary cream, good for acne prone skins, and a cream I got at my local zero waste shop with this cute metal container, a Nilotic Sunrise Lemon Face Cream.
Last year, I went to Lush with my lips so ruined I decided to invest in a lip scrub and got Chocolate Kiss, which has a nice chocolate and orange taste, and you can lick it after it has done its job.
Then the obvious: floss (which is too thick, so I can't wait to finish it), my beautiful bamboo toothbrush and tube of toothpaste.
I tried the coconut oil one, but I didn't really like it, and while waiting for the bentonite clay (with which I want to try another recipe) I got a couple of tubes it.
In that cute bottle, there's my mouthwash: I got the recipe from Blue Ollis and I'm really loving it.
Then there's my soap and this make-up remover glove, which I got from an old Yves Rocher order, but I think they're selling it now.
Cominciando dal lavandino:
questo SKIN&CO Truffle Therapy Face Gommage che ho trovato in una I MYBEAUTYBOX, che devo ancora finire; in una Marzia's Box avevo trovato questo Tonico di Sunday Riley, poi ho questa crema alla bardana, hamamelis e rosmarino, perfetta per pelle acneica, e una crema che ho preso nel negozio zero waste più vicino con questo contenitore in metallo super carino, e una crema per il viso Sunrise Lemon di Nilotic.
L'anno scorso sono andata da Lush e avevo le labbra distrutte, così ho deciso di investire in un lip scrub ed ho preso Chocolate Kiss, che ha un buon gusto di cioccolato e arancia, e lo si può leccarlo dopo averlo usato.
Poi l'ovvio: filo interdentale (che è troppo spesso per passarlo tra i denti, quindi non vedo l'ora di finirlo), il mio bellissimo spazzolino in bamboo e il tubo di dentifricio.
Ho provato il dentifricio all'olio di cocco, ma non mi piace molto, e in attesa dell'arrivo dell'argilla di bentonite (con la quale voglio provare un'altra ricetta) ne ho preso un paio di tubi.
In quella bella bottiglietta, c'è il colluttorio: ho usato la ricetta di Blue Ollis e mi sta piacendo molto. Per ultimi, il sapone e il guanto per togliere il trucco di Yves Rocher, che avevo preso con un ordine ma probabilmente ora li vendono anche.
On the cart next to my sink I have what to me is too many hair products: a couple of hairspray bottles (which I almost never use), a couple of heat protectors, a product for wavy hair, which I use sometimes in the summer, when I leave my hair to air dry, a night mask, a keratin and cachemire oil, a dry shampoo, and two smooth cream to use before blow-drying your hair. Needless to say that I use the same thing, which is the hair oil, and ALWAYS forget the other ones.
Nel carrellino vicino al lavandino ho anche fin troppi prodotti per capelli: un paio di bottiglie di lacca (che non uso quasi mai), un paio di protettori del calore, da usare prima del phon o delle piastre, unprodotto per i capelli mossi, che uso per lo più d'estate, quando lascio asciugare i capelli da soli, una maschera da usare di note, un olio alla keratina e cachemire, shampoo secco, e due creme per fare i capelli lisci. Inutile dire che uso sempre lo stesso prodotto, che è l'olio per i capelli, e mi dimentico SEMPRE di usare gli altri.
My bathtub situation is a lot easier since I finished all my bottled products: I still have all the Frank Body scrubs; I finally finished all the bubble baths I had and now I'm using this soap. For my hair I finally passed to the solid shampoo, I'm using HONEY I WASHED MY HAIR, and I'm using BIG, the solid conditioner. I'm definitely loving the shampoo, as for the conditioner I'm still trying to figure out the best way to use it, in the meantime I'm brushing my hair with the Tangle Teezer before putting it on.
I'm still using a plastic razor. I don't throw it away after just a couple of uses, so I'm keeping it while I wait to be able to get a safety razor. Then you can see a bottle inside a bowl: it's my Apple Cider Vinegar and bowl for rinsing: I use just a splash of ACV, add the water and rinse off after the conditioner.
La situazione della vasca è molto più semplice, siccome finalmente sono riuscita a finire i prodotti i bottiglia: ho ancora tutti gli scrub di Frank Body; finalmente ho finito tutti i bagnoschiuma quindi ora sono passata al sapone. Per i capelli sono passata allo shampoo solido e sto usando HONEY I WASHED MY HAIR, e sto usando BIG, il balsamo solido. Mi piace un sacco lo shampoo, mentre il balsamo sto ancora cercando di capire come usarlo per bene, nel frattempo, prima di usarlo mi pettinio con la Tangle Teezer. Sto ancora usando il rasoio di plastica. Non lo butto dopo solo un paio di utilizi, quindi lo tengo ancora un pò, finchè non riuscirò a prendere un rasoio di sicurezza. Poi vedete la bottiglia dentro una ciotola: è per il risciacquo dopo il balsamo con acqua e un poco di aceto di mele.
With the house came this cabinet, which I covered with marbled sticky paper, to make it cuter, and since it is the only storage in my bathroom, I added a couple of things from Ikea.
On the shelves I put most of my make-up stuff: most of the little stuff I found in MYBEAUTYBOXes, there's that cute little bathtub I got ages ago, and there's where I put my wooden combs and lash curler, Tanya Burr's brows product (I got it years ago), a lush charity pot, and a couple of powder foundations. There's a toothbrush holder I got from Flying Tiger and it holds hairbrushes and old makeup brushes, and a cup filled with brushes I still use, a Mikasa beauty blender, my DIY deodorant (recipe coming soon), a tube of this Cryseida cream, behind that there are a BB cream and a bottle of Colloidal Silver.
Con la casa c'era questo mobiletto, che ho coperto con carta adesiva marmorizzata, per farla più carina, e siccome è l'unico posto dove mettere le cose in bagno ho aggiunto un paio di cose di Ikea.
Sugli scaffali c'è la maggior parte dei miei trucchi: la maggior parte delle cose le ho trovate nelle MYBEAUTYBOX, in quella piccola vasca da bagno ho messo i miei pettini di legno e il piega ciglia, i prodotti per le sopracciglia di Tanya Burr (che ho preso anni fa), un charity pot di Lush e un paio di fondotinta in polvere. C'è un porta spazzolini che ho preso da Flying Tiger e ho usato per mettere spazzole e vecchi pennelli, una tazzina piena di pennelli che sto ancora usando, un beauty blender Mikasa, il deodorante che ho fatto io (la ricetta arriva presto), un tubetto di crema Cryseida, dietro la quale ci sono una BB cream e una bottiglia di Argento Colloidale.
In those plastic little drawers, I put: hairpins, face mists, essential oils, old face wash soap and the bottom drawer is my "shame drawer", full of stuff to finish, but there's also my mooncup, soap and a toothpaste tube. On top, there's still a couple of face masks, body creams and make-up remover oil.
Nei cassettini di plastica ho sistemato: forcine varie, spray per il viso, olii essenziali, un vecchio sapone detergente per il viso, e in basso c'è il mio "cassetto della vergogna", pieno di cose da finire, ma c'è anche la mia mooncup, sapone e un tubetto di dentifricio. In alto, ci sono ancora delle maschere per il viso, creme per il corpo e un olio struccante.
Last but not least, this drawer has emptied in the past year, between the stuff I used up and the stuff I gifted: I still have some wipes, a spare toothbrush, an old mirror, a couple of make-up palettes and a face towel.
Probably, compared to other bathroom situations, I have very little things, but most of the time I feel like I have too much stuff, mostly I can't wait to finish most of it. Some things I might never buy again, others probably I'll be sorry when they'll be finished. But I'm trying to go more eco-friendly and minimal in my products, hoping to get more in all the aspects of the house.
Ultimo ma non ultimo, questo cassetto, che nell'ultimo anno per fortuna si è svuotato da cose che ho finito o che ho regalato: ho ancora delle salviette, uno spazzolino di riserva, un vecchio specchio, un paio di palette e un asciugamanino.
Probabilmente, in confronto ad altri bagni, ho pochissime cose, ma spesso mi sembra di avere fin troppo, per lo più cose che non vedo l'ora di finire. Alcune di queste cose probabilmente non le ricomprerò, altre mi dispiacerà quando saranno finite. Ma sto cercando di diventare più eco-friendly e minimalista con i miei prodotti, sperando di diventarlo sempre di più in ogni aspetto di casa.
