I've been trying more and more to waste less, buy less products and try to DIY my own.
One of the things that I've tried lately, and that works really well, are toilet fizzies.
They are super easy to make and to use.
Here's how you make them.

Uno degli ultimi che ho provato recentemente, e che funziona abbastanza bene, sono le frizzantine per il bagno. Sono super facili da fare e usare.
Ecco come potete farle anche voi.
INGREDIENTS:
4 tbsp baking soda, 2 tbsp citric acid, essential oils of your choosing, a spray bottle with water in it, a mold (I used an ice mold found in a 2nd hand market)
INGREDIENTI:
4 cucchiai di bicarbonato, 2 cucchiai di acido citrico, olii essenziali preferiti, una bottiglietta spray con acqua, formine (io ho usato quelle del ghiaccio, che ho acquistato in un mercatino di seconda mano).
In a bowl mix the citric acid and the baking soda really well. Start spraying some water while mixing and add about 5-10 drops of essential oil. I used lemon and tea tree, for the smell of one and the antibacterial properties of the other. Keeping spraying water and mixing until you reach a consistency of wet sand, but not too much, or the citric acid will start bubbling and wasting most of the product.
Put in the desired mould and leave to dry overnight.
I used the ice mold, but you can use whatever you have at home, like this cute ones I'm showing you below.
Once dry take them out and put them in a container.
In una ciotola unite acido citrico e bicarbonato per bene. Iniziate a spruzzare poca acqua mentre mescolate e aggiungete dalle 5 alle 10 gocce di olio essenziale. Io ho scelto limone e tea tree, per il profumo uno e per le proprietà antibatteriche dell'altro. Continuate a spruzzare acqua finché non raggiungete la consistenza simile alla sabbia bagnata, ma non esagerate, perchè l'acido citrico inizierebbe a fare le bolle, si gonfierebbe e perdereste l'efficacia del prodotto.
Mettete il tutto nelle formine che preferite e lasciate asciugare per tutta la notte.
Io ho usato una formina per il ghiaccio ma potete usare quello che preferite, come queste carine che vi mostro qui sotto.
Una volta asciutte toglietele e mettetele in un contenitore.
Use it whenever you want to freshen up your toilet when you don't really need to clean the whole bathroom. ;-)
