I don't know when I saw Calendar Girls for the first time. Maybe about ten years ago.
It often happens that what attracts us towards a movie, apart from the story, are the actors.
For me it was Helen Mirren (already loved in THE QUEEN) and Julie Walters (my beloved Mrs Weasley). I saw it, I cried and I loved it. Since then, I think I must have seen it at least ten times.

Come capita spesso, oltre alla storia, ad attrarci verso un film sono gli attori. Per me sono state Helen Mirren (già amata grazie a THE QUEEN) e Julie Walters (la mia adorata Molly Weasley).
L'ho visto, ho pianto, ho riso e l'ho amato. Da allora, l'avrò visto almeno una decina di volte.
When I heard months ago that the teathre show would have come in Turin (in Italian of course) with the amazing Angela Finocchiaro, I immediately thought "I want to see it". So I got tickets for me and my mom (for her was a Christmas present) and last Sunday we went to see it.
Quando mesi fa ho scoperto che sarebbe venuto a Torino lo spettacolo teatrale (ovviamente in italiano) con la fantastica Angela Finocchiaro, ho subito pensato "Lo voglio vedere". Così ho deciso di comprare i biglietti e regalarne uno a mia mamma per Natale e così domenica siamo andate a vederlo.
The show was really nice and all the actresses were amazing and I know how hard it is to do a show with all those people looking at you, you can't do mistakes and must remain focused. After all, is not easy to be practically naked in front of an audience. It's not an age thing, I think that's a character thing. I'd never do it, but this makes me respect even more all the actresses

Ed è stato molto carino. Tutte le attrici sono state bravissime, e so benissimo che fare uno spettacolo con tutta quella gente davanti non è facile, non puoi sbagliare e devi rimanere concentratissima. Oltretutto, non è facile rimanere praticamente nuda davanti a tanta gente. Non è neanche una questione di età, ma credo che sia una questione di carattere. Io non lo farei mai, ma questo rende ancora più onore a tutte le attrici che hanno avuto a che fare con questa storia e anche alle signore dalla quale storia è stato tratto tutto questo. Ma lo sapevate che è una storia vera?
Before it began we went to grab an ice cream to LA ROMANA, where they make amazing ice creams. I got RED ORANGE e 150 YEARS UNITY OF ITALY, mentre mia mamma ha preso BLACK BLUEBERRY, ELDER AND LEMON e YOGURT. 😍
Prima dell'inizio dello show siamo andate a prenderci un gelato alla gelateria LA ROMANA, che fanno dei gelati buonissimi. Io ho preso ARANCIA ROSSA e 150 ANNI DELL'UNITA' D'ITALIA, mentre mia mamma ha preso MIRTILLO NERO, SAMBUCO E LIMONE e YOGURT. 😍
