In the past year, I've become quite a plant lady, it's the only living thing that I can have in my home, and they've been giving a lot of satisfaction, they've grown quite a bit.
Nel corso di quest'anno sono diventata una "piantara", è l'unica cosa viva che posso tenere in casa e mi stanno dando un bel pò di soffisfazioni, sono cresciute così tanto.
The first ones are these: (from left to right) the first one I found it the last year at the camping my sister went to, it has grown a bit and, I don't know why, it has some roots on the outside; the second and the third one I think I bought them together and they've grown so much, I think I'll have to repot and move them from the kitchen windowsill; the fourth one is one of the oldest I own, it has grown a lot, but maybe it feels it doesn't have much more room to grow in height and width; the last one is the one that lost all its leaves this summer, it has never happened, but now it's starting to get them all back, it's really cute, actually.
Le prime sono queste: (da sinistra a destra) la prima l'ho trovata l'anno scorso in campeggio, è cresciuta un pò e, non so perchè, ha alcune radici esterne; la seconda e la terza credo di averle prese insieme e sono cresciute così tanto che credo che dovrò ripiantarle presto e spostarle dal davanzale della cucina; la quarta è una delle più vecchie che ho, è cresciuta un bel pò, ma magari non crede di avere altro spazio per crescere in altezza e larghezza; l'ultima è quella che quest'estate ha perso tutte le foglie quest'estate, non era mai successo, ma ora stanno ricrescendo, ed è davvero carina.
These three I don't even remember when and where I got them, but they still live, so that's good for now. 😀
Queste tre non ricordo neanche dove e quando le ho prese, ma sono ancora vive, quindi per ora tutto bene.😀
On the left pot (from left to right) the first one was found by my mom in front of our house as if someone threw it away, so I took it in and it's still going strong. The right ones are the other thievery from the camping (these plants are everywhere) and I managed to get them to multiply. On the right pot, there's this other plant, and I don't remember how it was when I first got it, probably there were less, still, it's grown a lot. The only down thing is that one day I accidentally broke one of them, really cut it in half, but I stuck the "head" into the pot and I'm still waiting to see what it does. In the meantime, the piece that remained in the dirt has sprouted a couple of leaves.
Nel vaso di sinistra (da sinistra a destra) la prima piantina l'aveva trovata mia mamma buttata davanti casa nostra, quindi l'ho presa e ora sta molto bene ed è cresiuta un sacco. Quella di destra invece è un altra rapina del campeggio (sono ovunque queste piante) e sono riuscita a farla moltiplicare. Nel vaso di destra, c'è quest'altra pianta, non ricordo com'era quando l'ho presa, ma molto probabilmente era più piccola e con meno piantine. L'unico problema è che un giorno, per sbaglio, ne ho rotta una, ma ho infilato la"testa" nella terra e ora vediamo cosa fa. Nel frattempo, il pezzo rimasto nel vaso ha fatto nascere delle foglioline.
The avocado seeds: I tried it before a couple of years ago, but this summer I saw the highlights on a girl's IG and I found out that I have to peel it to allow it break and create the roots. The first ones have already broke and their roots are quite long now (after the photo was taken) and one of them is starting to grow the plant from the top. The third one still nothing, but I have other two at my mom's, so...
I semi di avocado: avevo provato un paio di anni fa, ma quest'estate ho visto gli highlight su IG di una ragazza e ho scoperto che li devo pelare per permettere al seme di rompersi e creare le radici. I primi due si sono già aperti e hanno delle radici lunghine (dopo che è stata fatta questa foto) e in uno sta già crescendo la pianta dall'alto. Per quanto riguarda il terzo ancora niente, ma ne ho altri due a casa di mia mamma, quindi...
The Sansevieria is one of those plants that needs little light and little water, so it's good even if you live in a tiny apartment and are forgetful. For now, it's still going strong after a month of buying it, I water maybe a couple of days every two weeks, maybe even less. When I water the succulents I'll water this.
La Sansevieria è una di quelle piante che hanno bisogno di poca luce e poca acqua, e va benissimo anche se vivete in un piccolo appartamento e siete smemorati. Per ora, dopo un mese dall'acquisto, sta andando molto bene, le do l'acqua forse una volta ogni due settimane, anche meno. Diciamo che la bagno quando bagno le piante grasse.
This one I call it Elephant's Paw, it reminds me of it. I got one of these years ago and it died on me, but since my plants have been doing so well I decided to try it again. I got it in a little pot and repotted it in a bigger one I got with herb plants.
Questa io la chiamo Zampa di Elefante, perchè me la ricorda. Ne avevo preso una simile anni fa e mi era morta, ma siccome le mie piante stanno andando così bene ho deciso di riprovare. Era in un vaso più piccolo e l'ho ripiantata in un vaso un pò più grande, nel quale avevo comprato una pianta aromatica.
This one was in the first pot you saw at the beginning of the post, but it has grown so much that I had to repot it and move it, and it's still going strong. I should start to measure it because I don't really know if and how much it has grown.
Questa era nel vaso della prima foto del post, ma è cresciuta talmente tanto che ho dovuto spostarla di vaso e di posto, e sta ancora andando benissimo. Ma credo che dovrò iniziare a misurarla perchè non se e quanto sia cresciuta, in realtà .
I've been eyeing the Monstera for quite a while, I've seen it everywhere on IG and on blogs, and I remember seeing it in one of Rhiannon Ashlee Vlogs and wanting it immediately. I got it at Ikea a couple of weeks ago. I water whenever it needs it. It has a couple of little leaves and there's a new big one still rolled that is coming out. It's in a spot that gets a good light in the morning.
There it is, all my plants. I hope you like this kind of post because I would like to keep an update on the plants here. Until next time,

Era da un pò che adocchiavo la Monstera, l'ho vista ovunque su IG e su blogs, e ricordo di averla vista in uno dei Vlog di Rhiannon Ashlee e di volerla. L'ho presa all'Ikea un paio di settimane fa. Le do acqua ogni volta che ne ha bisogno. Ci sono alcune foglie piccole e ce n'è una grossa ancora arrotolata che sta crescendo. E' in un punto dove prende molta luce al mattino.
Ecco tutte le mie piante. Spero vi piaccia questo tipo di post perchè vorrei fare degli aggiornamenti qui. Alla prossima, Feddy
