Hey friends! Did you swap your lighter clothes with your warmer ones yet?
I decided to do it the other day and the room was a mess. At one point I kind of lost interest, but I couldn't leave the bed full of stuff, so I had to keep going. And I'm glad I did. It looks a bit more organized. Let's take a look together at what I did.

Io ho deciso di farlo l'altro giorno e la stanza era un caos. A un certo punto ho perso l'interesse, ma dovevo per forza continuare perchè non potevo lasciare il letto pieno di rova. E sono contenta di averlo fatto. Sembra molto più organizzato. Diamo un'occhiata a cosa ho combinato.

Io ho deciso di farlo l'altro giorno e la stanza era un caos. A un certo punto ho perso l'interesse, ma dovevo per forza continuare perchè non potevo lasciare il letto pieno di rova. E sono contenta di averlo fatto. Sembra molto più organizzato. Diamo un'occhiata a cosa ho combinato.
First of all, I took everything out: summer clothes, summer pyjamas, autumn/winter clothes, a/w pyjamas, underwear and socks (yes, they needed organizing too), t-shirts I use all year round...
I started cleaning the bedside tables because they needed it, so I dusted everything, cleaned it and made them pretty again.
Prima di tutto, ho tirato fuori tutto: vestiti estivi, piagiam estivi, vestiti autunno/inverno, pigiami a/i, calze e mutande (sì, anche quelli avevano bisogno di organizzazione), magliette che uso tutto l'anno...
Ho poi iniziato dai comodini, che avevano bisogno di una bella spolverata, e li ho fatti tornare carini.
Prima di tutto, ho tirato fuori tutto: vestiti estivi, piagiam estivi, vestiti autunno/inverno, pigiami a/i, calze e mutande (sì, anche quelli avevano bisogno di organizzazione), magliette che uso tutto l'anno...
Ho poi iniziato dai comodini, che avevano bisogno di una bella spolverata, e li ho fatti tornare carini.
Next step was the pyjamas drawer: out with the light, in with the warmer. I don't have many, but I received one last year that is the ultimate soft and warm pyjama, with a Little Red Riding Hood drawing. The cutest. It was a bit pricey, but it will last me such a long time that it will be worth its money. Then there's a lighter one I got last year, too, and one I got a couple of years ago with my sister, in fact, it's the same. Then I put some comfy stuff, that I can use if I want to do some exercise at home. I don't usually do much, but I started to do some yoga so I can use them.
Il passo successivo era il cassetto dei pigiami: fuori quelli leggeri, e dentro quelli pesanti. Non ne ho molti, ma uno che ho ricevuto l'anno scorso è morbidissimo e bello pesante, con un disegno di Cappuccetto Rosso. Troppo carino. E' costato un pò ma mi durerà veramente tantissimo, quindi li vale tutti i soldi. Ce n'è uno più leggero che ho preso l'anno scorso, e uno che ho preso uguale identico a mia sorella. Ho poi messo delle cose comode, che posso usare se voglio fare dell'esercizio. Non ne faccio molto, ma ho appena iniziato a fare yoga quindi li posso usare allora.
Then it was time for the underwear and sock drawer. There was such a mess. So I decided to get the socks I will use every day with the colder days next to the short socks I usually use in spring/summer and the underwear, and move to the left side all the thighs I got through the years, and that I've used very little, but I want to start using them again. I just have to wear more skirts.
E' toccato poi al cassetto delle mutande e delle calze. Era un disastro. Quindi ho deciso di avvicinare le calze più pesanti alle calze più leggere e le mutande, e ho spostato più lontano i collant, che non uso quasi mai, ma vorrei rincominciare. Devo solo indossare delle gonne.
Next was the t-shirt drawer. The messiest. I use the t-shirt all year round because I wear them under the long sleeved t-shirts in these colder seasons, to have layers. So I decided that the best way to store them would be to fold them and put them away in the KonMari style, I have the book but I haven't read it yet, and now I lent it to my sister, so I guess I will never see it again 😜
Anyway, I saw many people using the KonMari way of organization, so I put all the t-shirts I have, including all the HARD ROCK CAFE' ones, I received from my aunt and uncles when they travel somewhere. Now I can see everything I have and I won't have a messy drawer again. I hope.
Il successivo è stato il cassetto delle magliette. Il più disastrato. Uso le magliette praticamente tutto l'anno per fare strato sotto le magliette a maniche lunghe. Quindi ho deciso che il modo migliore per riordinarle è piegarle usando il metodo KonMari, della quale ho il libro ma non sono ancora riuscita a leggere, e ora che l'ho prestato a mia sorella non lo rivedrò mai piu 😜
Comunque, ho visto molte persone online usare il metodo KonMari, quindi sono riuscita a far stare tutte le magliette, anche quelle dell'HARD ROCK CAFE, che ricevo dai miei zii quando vanno in posti nuovi. Ora posso vedere tutto quello che ho nel cassetto e sarà più ordinato. Spero
The last one was the long-sleeved t-shirts and sweatshirt drawer. There's not much in here, but it was a big mess before, now I have the t-shirts on one side and the sweatshirts on the other one. Much better.
L'ultimo è quello delle magliette a maniche lunghe e felpe. Non c'è molto, ma prima era un gran casino, invece ora ho tutte le magliette da una parte e le felpe dall'altra. Molto meglio.
In the pants section there's this SAMLA box* I had under the other bed, but since I got my mom's bed and bed frame, it doesn't fit anymore, so it ended up in the wardrobe. In there I had all the pullovers I will wear when it will be much colder, so I took everything out, put the summer stuff in there, and all the sweaters, home stuff (like sweatpants) and scarves ended up in this STUCK organizer*.
Nella parte dei pantaloni c'è una scatola SAMLA* che prima era sotto il letto, ma siccome ho scambiato il letto con quello di mia mamma ora non ci sta più, e quindi è finito dentro l'armadio. Dentro c'erano tutti i magliori che uso quando fa più freddo, quindi ho tirato fuori tutto, e ho messo dentro tutta la roba estiva, e tutti i maglioni, roba da casa (come pantaloni della tuta) e sciarpe sono finiti nell' organizzatore STUCK*.
I never felt so good for organizing my clothes. I don't have much and I'm not a fashionista, even though I like to dress cute sometimes, I would like to have all the cute clothes but I hate shopping, I do it mostly online whenever I need it, so I guess to become a fashion blogger will not be my future, but I do like it now that everything is all organized. Don't you?!

Ora mi sento meglio per aver riorganizzato i miei vestiti. Non ne ho tanti e non sono una fashionista, anche se a volte mi piace vestirmi bene, e vorrei avere un sacco di bei vestiti, ma odio fare shopping, lo faccio per lo più online quando ne ho bisogno, quindi credo che fashion blogger non sia nel mio futuro, ma mi piace vedere tutto organizzato. E a voi?!
